A touch of heaven
This is a small piece of my favorite place to watch the deer and chipmonks roam. It is within a twenty minute drive to at least seven excellent fishing lakes. It is also very quiet and peaceful.

If you are unlucky enough to catch a cab that is being driven by a politician, you will get to the end of your ride late, pay ten times what the trip was worth, and be standing in unfamiliar surroundings as the cabbie drives away.

How One Veteran Feels
A lack of combat experience does not diminish the pride I feel for having served during a contentious period in the history of my Nation, nor does it lessen the sadness that fills me each day our war fighting men and women remain in harm's way.
Conflict Resolution is work best reserved for mature, responsible adults. God willing, we will eventually see that type of individual assume a place of respect within the Halls of Congress and, hopefully, take control of a deeply blemished White House.
